Tolayout, mark and perform the more complicated painting assignments on newdelivery and customer-owned aircraft, to meet Quality Control inspection andcustomer acceptance


1.To interpret drawingsprovided by Sales Department and customers for the layout and masking of logos,stripes, and registration numbers

2.Prepare cost estimates ofmaterials, labor, and time to complete touch-up, stripes, logos, andregistration number changes

3.Working from oral andwritten instruction, regularly perform painting rework on the completedaircraft (both exterior and interior surfaces), using extreme care to avoidoverspray damage to other areas of the aircraft

a.Frequently involvesmatching of some special paint finishes applied in the field, both foreign anddomestic

4.Use and adjust, clean andservice spray guns, paint pots, hoses, and other spray equipment

5.Apply fillers, prep, prime,and paint small and large surfaces to include items as large as fuselage,tails, and wings

6.Perform blends as needed

7.Keep inventory of suppliesand order in advance to assure needed items are on hand

8.Work with internalcustomers to assure aircraft is on schedule and within budget

9.Perform other relatedduties as required



* Required:

* Use of simple arithmetic together with simple drawings andspecifications and some measuring devices.

* Equivalent to high school education

o1-3 years experience in a variety of spray painting andrework assignments
